Ropsley Hall has a long tradition of providing first class professional entertainment. This is organised by the hall management and usually provided by Live and Local. Their aim is to take the arts out to rural areas, by providing performances at a subsidised rate. They themselves are funded by both the Arts Council and the local authorities in whose area they operate in.

An extraordinary true story of the remarkable women who were secretly parachuted into Nazi-occupied France during the Second World War.
Through powerful storytelling, original songs and evocative live performance, acclaimed songwriter Louise Jordan brings to life the courage, ingenuity and sacrifice of the female spies who risked everything to resist Nazi occupation. Trained in sabotage, espionage and covert operations, these women faced impossible choices, constant danger and the ever-present threat of capture.
Who were these women? What drove them to volunteer for such perilous missions? And how many made it home?
Combining live music, storytelling, theatrical performance, soundscape and movement, Behind Enemy Lines is a moving and inspiring solo show that shines a light on some of history's most extraordinary yet overlooked women.
Don't miss this unforgettable evening of music, history and storytelling that celebrates the resilience, bravery and humanity of women who helped change the course of history.
"A production that honours the legacy of these remarkable women with grace, artistry and emotional depth." - Salisbury Journal "A great show, careful research delivered in a highly visual and aural way, a great night's entertainment." - FATEA Magazine
